PROGRAMS
Teen programs are provided by Youth Services. The programs are designed for teens in grades 6-12. Ideas and implementation of programs is a collaborative effort by teens and library staff. Funding for programs is provided by the Library, Friends of the Walled Lake City Library, fundraising efforts by teens and donations.
Teen Cafe' Is an opportunity for teens in grades 6-12 to meet with friends in a safe and relaxed atmosphere one Saturday a month. Teens are encouraged to take time out to enjoy chatting with friends, do homework, listen to music, play table games, hear special speakers, attend programs and simply gather around with some yummy snacks and beverages. Teen Advisory Council (TAC) will meet during the monthly Teen Cafe'. Visit the TAC page for dates, time and agenda information.
ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND MAY REQUIRE REGISTRATION UNLESS NOTED. REGISTRATIONS MAY BE MADE BY PHONE, IN PERSON OR ONLINE AS NOTED.
THE LIBRARY NEWSLETTER IS MAILED TO AREA RESIDENTS THE FIRST WEEK IN SEPTEMBER, JANUARY AND JUNE. PROGRAM UPDATES TO THIS WEBSITE ARE MADE AT THIS TIME. VISIT US OFTEN.
