Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is a part of the Youth Services. The TAC is comprised of teens in grades 6-12 who are interested in volunteering about 2 to 4 hours a month. Tasks include promoting and implementing teen programs, working on library projects, recommending books, movies and music for the YA collections, offering ideas for programs, and much more. Membership is one year-- September 1 through August 30th and is renewable. School community service credit is provided upon request.

Teens interested in being part of the TAC team, may click here to download the TAC application forms. Fill out the TAC application form and return it to the Library. TAC applications are also available at the Library. When a schedule is made, each teen will be required to have on file the following forms: Teen Volunteer Agreement  and Parental Permission Form. 

TAC meetings dates, time and brief agenda are posted below: 

Sat., April 28, 2012, 12-1 p.m. We will be discussing TAC organization and the upcoming summer reading program.

Sat., May 5, 2012, 12-1 p.m. Summer Reading Program implementation.

Fri., Aug 3, 2012, 12-1 p.m. TAC officer appointments, volunteer recognition and future projects agenda
