Teen Cafe' is a program offered by Youth Services. Teen Cafe' is specifically designed to offer an opportunity for teens to gather at a safe and relaxed meeting place. Refreshments, chat, homework, table games, group study, special speakers, programs and more are all part of this scene. No registration is required. TAC (Teen Advisory Council) will also meet during this time. See the TAC page for specific agenda information.
Teens are invited to meet at the "Teen Cafe" one Saturday each month. Specific dates and times are listed below:
Saturday, April 28, 2012, 11-1 p.m. PIZZA TASTE-OFF-Make mini- pizzas and vote for your favorite.
Saturday, May 5,2012, 11-1 p.m. LOLLIPOP FLOWERS-Make a candy flower bouquet for Mother's Day.
Friday, August 3,2012, 11-1 p.m. ICE CREAM SOCIAL & MINI STATE FAIR ELEPHANT EARS. Yumm.
The "Chat and Nibble" is a designated area for teens to enjoy refreshments. Each meeting a "foodie" fun demonstration is planned with teens making their own treat. Included will be various individually wrapped snack items and an assortment of beverages. Fun treats as well as nutritional choices are available. Teens are welcome to bring their own snack items.
Teen Advisory Council (TAC) will meet at 12:00 p.m.
